The Telangana Haj Committee held its first training camp for selected Haj 2023 pilgrims at Jama Masjid Aliya, Gunfoundry. During the camp, the ulema explained the details related to the pilgrimage of Haj and holy places, emphasizing that most of the time should be spent in worship. To ensure uninterrupted worship, pilgrims were advised to stay away from mobile phones and social media activities. Chairman Telangana Haj Committee Mohammed Saleem stressed the importance of patience during haj days and avoiding anxiety and quarrels. He reminded pilgrims that they are guests of Allah Almighty, who arranges for them. Saleem also advised pilgrims to lead an ideal life after returning from Haj that serves as a model for others.

Saleem mentioned that 1.75 lakh pilgrims from India will perform Haj this year, and the Government of Saudi Arabia is making extraordinary arrangements. Efforts are being made to keep Indian pilgrims’ accommodation close to Harmeen, and it is necessary to observe 40 prayers in Madinah. Pilgrims should be engaged in worship most of the time and avoid videography, photography, social media, and phone conversations in Harmeen. The Telangana Haj Committee is making effective arrangements and is fully supported by the government. A special terminal is being arranged at the airport, and Muhammad Saleem advised pilgrims to approach the Haj Committee authorities to resolve any problem.

Maulana Mufti Hussamuddin Qasmi and Maulana Mufti Amjad Qasmi narrated the details of the Haj, while Assistant Executive Officer Telangana Haj Committee Irfan Sharif was apprised about the necessary issues.
