    Professor Amir Ullah Khan, an economist and professor at the Dr. Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute (MCRHRDI) in Hyderabad, spoke at a panel discussion on “Education in G-20 Countries” organized by the Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers (CPDUMT) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). He emphasized the need for an increase in the number of teachers to provide quality education.

    The panel discussion was part of the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) University Connect initiative, and Professor Siddiqui Mohammad Mahmood, OSD-II of MANUU, moderated the event. Other panelists included Professor Syed Najamul Hasan from the Department of Mathematics and Vivienne Valles Thomas from the US. The experts discussed the importance of teachers, classrooms, and technology in education in G20 countries.

    During the discussion, the experts talked about the initiative of G20 and its objectives, the importance of its presidency, the educational situation in G20 countries, the need for mutual cooperation and technical resources, and the role of private institutions. They also answered questions raised by participants.

    Professor Mohd. Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Director of CPDUMT, welcomed the panelists and participants, while Dr. Misbah Anzar, Assistant Professor, proposed a vote of thanks. Many students and teachers attended the panel discussion, and caps with the G20 logo were distributed among the students to mark the occasion.
