    BRS leaders in Hyderabad held demonstrations at Singareni Collieries in Telangana to protest against the Union government’s decision to privatise coal blocks. The protests were held in various town headquarters including Bhupalpalli, Kothagudem, Mancheriyal, Godavarikhani, Mandamarri, and Ellandu. Workers of the Singareni Collieries, in collaboration with TGBKS, participated in the protest by wearing black badges and raising slogans against the government. At Kothagudem, a ‘Maha Dharna’ was organised against the privatisation of SCCL mines where several leaders including Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar and MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra took part. Similarly, at Mancherial, Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy led the protest along with other MLAs and leaders.
