The city of Hyderabad is all set to witness a historic event on April 14, 2021, as the grand unveiling ceremony of a 125-ft statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is scheduled to take place. The statue, which is said to be the tallest in the world, is located at the sprawling L.B. Stadium complex in the heart of the city. The statue has been built using bronze and stands on a granite pedestal that is 34 feet high. It weighs around 46 tonnes and has been designed by renowned sculptor Ram V. Sutar.

The unveiling ceremony is expected to be a grand affair, with several dignitaries from the political and cultural spheres attending the event. The Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, is expected to preside over the ceremony, while other prominent guests include Union Ministers, Governors, and Members of Parliament.
