The campaign stated that over 25% of donations came from first-time donors to the Trump Campaign, further cementing his status as the clear frontrunner in the Republican primary.
The campaign also emphasized that the surge of grassroots contributions shows that the American people view the indictment of President Trump as a disgraceful weaponization of the justice system by a Soros-funded prosecutor. Trump’s 2024 campaign is funded by an unmatched coalition of hardworking patriots who are tired of special interest donors like Soros spending billions of dollars to influence elections. The average contribution to Trump’s campaign was only USD 34.
The release further stated that Americans from all 50 states donated to President Trump’s campaign within the first five hours of the indictment.
