K T Rama Rao, the working president of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), recently made comments on the controversial event that took place in Delhi, where a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP shared a stage with one of the convicts in the Bilkis Bano gang rape case. The event, called the ‘Balatkaar Justification Party’, sparked outrage across the country and prompted many to question the BJP’s stance on women’s rights and safety.

K T Rama Rao, who is also the Minister for Information Technology, Municipal Administration and Urban Development in Telangana, took to Twitter to express his views on the matter. He condemned the event and called for strict action against those involved in it. He also criticized the BJP for its lack of action against the accused and for allowing such events to take place.

The Bilkis Bano gang rape case is one of the most heinous crimes committed against a woman in recent times. In 2002, Bilkis Bano, a pregnant woman, was gang-raped and left for dead during the Gujarat riots. She lost her entire family in the violence that ensued. The case gained national attention and became a symbol of the struggle for justice for victims of sexual violence.

The fact that one of the convicts in this case was invited to speak at an event that justifies rape and sexual violence is not only insensitive but also a direct attack on the dignity of women. The BJP MP who shared the stage with the convict has been widely criticized for his actions. Many have called for his resignation from the party and for him to be held accountable for his actions.

The incident has once again brought to light the issue of women’s safety and the need for stricter laws and punishments for those who commit crimes against women. It has also highlighted the need for political parties to take a strong stand against such incidents and to work towards creating a safer environment for women in the country.

In conclusion, K T Rama Rao’s comments on the BJP MP sharing a stage with a Bilkis Bano rapist at the ‘Balatkaar Justification Party’ event have highlighted the need for political parties to take a strong stand against crimes against women. It is time for all of us to come together and work towards creating a safer and more just society for women. We must ensure that those who commit crimes against women are punished severely and that justice is served to the victims of sexual violence.
