    On Saturday, Home Minister Md Mahmood Ali inaugurated four police station buildings in the Jayashankar Bhupalpally district of Telangana. The buildings were constructed at a cost of Rs 10 crore and the Minister personally inaugurated two of them, while the other two were inaugurated virtually. During the event, the Minister stated that Telangana is one of the most surveilled states in the country and stands first in CCTV surveillance. He also praised the Telangana Police for successfully containing the Maoist threat and maintaining law and order in the state. The Minister highlighted that the government has invested Rs 700 crore in providing new vehicles and strengthening the Dial 100 SOS system to ensure efficacy. He also mentioned that by bringing down the crime rate, the government has instilled confidence among the people about the workmanship of the police. The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao believes in law and order to attract investments, he added. The Director-General of Police, Anjani Kumar, said that the government is spending Rs 200 crore for the construction of new police buildings in the erstwhile Warangal district. Other officials present at the event included Bhupalpally MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy, Warangal MP Pasunuri Dayakar, State Police Housing Board chairman Koleti Damodar, and Jayashankar Bhupalpally district Superintendent of Police J Surender Reddy.
