Delhi Liquor Scam display case: Arun Pillai seeks avoidance of emotional involvement of affirmation given to ED

New Delhi: Arun Pillai, one of the accused in the Delhi Liquor scam, has filed a plea with the Delhi tribunal to retract his affirmation given to the Enforcement Directorate (ED). According to the sources, the tribunal has issued a advance notification to the ED in answer to Pillai’s plea. He has alleged that his affirmation was given under insistence.

The ED has stated that Arun Pillai is a close in relevance or relationship associate of BRS commander Kavitha and represented the “South Group” in the Delhi Liquor scam. Meanwhile, Kavitha, a BRS MLC, is currently staging a dissent at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against the act later than planned in women’s reservation.
