    Hyderabad:  A female dropped victim to cyber scams and also was scammed of Rs 50,000 on the pretense of renting her residence on OLX. The target, Sharada Devi (63 ), a homeowner of Shamshabad, has a residence in Andhra Pradesh that she intended to lease and also uploaded an ad on the OLX website.

    One individual calling himself Deepak Pawar, called the female over the phone and also asked the target to share pictures of your house. He checked the rental fee and also various other information. He made believe to consent to take your house on rental fee and also provided to pay the breakthrough quantity via the e-payment portal.

    “The man told the woman that he had sent a link and asked her to click on it to get the amount of Rs 50,000 credited to her account. When the woman clicked the link, instead of money being credited, Rs 50,000 was debited from her bank account,” stated Shamshabad police. Based on an issue, the police signed up an instance and also are exploring.
