Hyderabad: The 35th annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Prasannanjaneya Swamy Temple in Lothukunta concluded on Wednesday. The three-day event, which began on Monday with Kalasa Sthapana and Ankurarpanam, was marked by devotion and grandeur. The celebrations ended with the Sundarakanda Homam, Purnahuti, and prasad distribution.

The Sri Prasannanjaneya Swamy Temple was built in 1990 by members of the Indira Nagar Colony Welfare Association. Its consecration ceremony was performed by Sri Pushpagiri Peethadhipati. Since then, daily pujas and rituals have been conducted in the temple every morning and evening, abiding by the Agama traditions.

Every year, the temple committee organizes the Brahmotsavam for three days, starting from Bahula Pushya Trayodashi to Amavasya. This year’s 35th Brahmotsavam was observed with fervor and devotion. Devotees believe that Sri Prasannanjaneya Swamy fulfills their wishes, and many have shared personal experiences of their prayers being answered.

On the final day, various rituals, including the Swamivari Maha Nyasa Rudrabhishekam, Kumbhabhishekam, Sundarakanda Homam, and Purnahuti, were performed. Teertha prasada was also distributed among devotees. The event saw participation not only from residents of the colony but also from devotees across the twin cities, making it a grand and spiritual occasion.
