    Police Seize 12 Quintals of Ration Rice in Gadwal

    In a significant operation, authorities from the Aija Police Station seized 31 bags of ration rice in Venkataapur. The rice, weighing 12 quintals, was found stored in a shed. A 28-year-old man named Rajagopal, a resident of Venkataapur, was found in possession of the seized rice.

    Speaking to the media, Sub-Inspector Vijaya Bhaskar confirmed that a case has been filed. The police are now investigating the source of the ration rice and whether it was part of an illegal diversion scheme.

    Efforts are being made to prevent the misuse of government-supplied ration goods, which are meant to benefit the underprivileged. The authorities assured that more details will be disclosed as the investigation moves forward.
