    Osmania University’s Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, along with the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana, is hosting a national level short film festival at Tagore Auditorium on March 27 and 28. The festival aims to showcase talent from filmmakers across the country.

    Dr T Satish Kumar, Head of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, is leading this initiative to provide a platform for upcoming filmmakers. The Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, Professor Dr D Ravinder, along with esteemed guests like Dr MamidiHarikrishna and Professor R Limbadri, will inaugurate the festival.

    Guests of Honor at the event include luminaries from academia and cinema like Professor P Laxminarayana, Professor K Arjun Rao, Deva Katta, Rohit Penusmatsa, Sasi Camp, Dr Sajida Khan, and Dr Sathya Prakash. The festival will feature panel discussions, workshops, and screenings to inspire budding filmmakers.
