The drive was launched in response to an increase in alcohol-related accidents in the region. Special teams were deployed to various locations to monitor and catch intoxicated drivers. Among those apprehended, 123 were two-wheeler drivers, 11 were three-wheeler drivers, 37 were four-wheeler drivers, and one was a heavy vehicle driver. Notably, 18 offenders were found with dangerously high blood alcohol levels ranging from 200 mg/100 ml to 550 mg/100 ml. All violators will be presented before the court for further action.

The police also discovered instances of both underage drinking and drunk driving during the special operation.
