    The Rachakonda Road Safety wing, along with the traffic police, conducted more than 1,494 awareness programs in the Rachakonda Commissionerate area as part of National Road Safety Month 2025. Rachakonda ranked first in Telangana for spreading awareness about road safety.

    During the month, different police wings conducted awareness sessions. The Law & Order (L&O) wing organized 708 sessions, the traffic wing held 378, and the Traffic Training Institute (TTI) conducted 408 sessions.

    Through these efforts, road safety messages reached around 2,24,100 people across the Rachakonda area. The goal was to control road accidents and promote safe driving habits. Pedestrians, students, RTC drivers, lorry drivers, and auto drivers were included in the awareness programs. Journalists and students also played an important role in spreading the message.

    Educational institutions hosted sessions to teach students about road safety rules. The TTI and the E-Challan wing of Rachakonda actively participated in organizing these programs.

    A major event was also held at ACE Engineering College, Ghatkesar, in collaboration with the Rachakonda Security Council (RKSC). The event was led by Commissioner G. Sudheer Babu to mark National Road Safety Month 2025.

    During the event, the commissioner spoke about the importance of following road safety rules and how they can save lives. Families of road accident victims, students, drivers, and media personnel attended the event.
