A mega job fair was held in Mahbubnagar, where 105 companies offered 10,000 jobs in a single day. Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud inaugurated the event and expressed pride in how Mahbubnagar has transformed from a place where people had to leave in search of jobs to a district where big companies are now recruiting local talent. Last month, 12 IT companies hired 650 youth from Mahbubnagar. The Excise Minister also mentioned plans for another job fair next year, where Amara Raja, a leading lithium-ion battery maker, will provide jobs to 10,000 candidates. Goud advised the youth to take any job opportunity that comes their way, whether in the private or government sector, for a bright future. He emphasized that government jobs are limited and urged the youth not to wait but to join the workforce early. The Minister highlighted the efforts of the Telangana government in setting up an IT Park, a food park, and an eco-park, which have provided employment opportunities in sectors like IT, agriculture, and tourism. Goud also called for special training programs for women to encourage entrepreneurship and the establishment of small-scale industries in order to generate more job opportunities in the district.
