The final voter list for the Telangana polls in Hyderabad has achieved 100% registration after removing ineligible voters, according to Hyderabad District Election Officer (DEO) Ronald Rose. First-time voters can register their information through Form 6 by contacting the nearest booth level officer (BLO) or visiting the GHMC website for BLO contact numbers.

Voters have until October 31 to make changes to their information, including editing, adding, or deleting details. The DEO reminded citizens to carry relevant documents if they are found with more cash than what is in their account. To make corrections, voters can call the toll-free number 1950, download the voter helpline app, or visit the website voters.eci.gov.in.

A special grievance cell has been set up at the District Collector’s office to investigate any money or freebies seized during inspections, said Ronald Rose. Nominations for the elections will be accepted from November 3 to November 10. The scrutiny of nominations will take place on November 13, and symbol allotment and candidate lists will be announced on November 15. The necessary equipment for conducting the elections, such as the balloting unit, control unit, and voter-verifiable paper audit trail (VVPAT), have been prepared in excess of the required amount.
