The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has announced that they will be launching 50 electric air-conditioned (AC) buses on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route. These buses are eco-friendly and are named ‘E-Garuda’, and 10 of them will be available to the public from May 16th. The buses have high quality standards and are equipped with high-tech features.

The inaugural ceremony for the E-Garuda buses will be held on May 16th at Pushfak Bus Point near Miyapur Cross Roads in Hyderabad. Telangana Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar and TSRTC chairman and MLA Bajireddy Govardhan will inaugurate the buses.

This move towards electric AC buses is a step towards eco-friendly transportation. The TSRTC hopes that passengers will enjoy the comfort of these new buses. It is expected that this initiative will encourage other public transportation agencies to adopt eco-friendly measures as well.
